JPG, PNG, and WebP. The tool re-encodes each image to JPG inside the PDF for the smallest file size while preserving visual quality.

Is there a limit on the number of pages?

Soft limit of 50 images per PDF — beyond that, browser memory becomes the bottleneck. Individual images should be under 10 MB each.

Can I add text or annotations to the PDF?

Not from this tool — it's image-only. Use the Editor first to add text/annotations to each image, then combine the edited images into a PDF here.

Question 4

Will my PDF be searchable?

Accepted Answer

No. Image-based PDFs aren't text-searchable unless you run OCR (optical character recognition) on them afterward. We don't include OCR in this tool.

Question 5

Does this tool upload my images?

No. PDF construction happens entirely in your browser using jsPDF. Your images and the resulting PDF never touch our servers.
